Beauty of Comfort

The gardens are always beautifully kept.

If the flowers are so beautiful here on our sinful planet, imagine what they will be in sinless pure heaven!

This man is explaining all about begonias, the difference in the flowers, growing them, looking after them.   It was interesting. He has a female flower in his left hand and holding another one with his right.

The hanging baskets are so beautiful.

It really is awe-inspiring when you first walk in the door, and as you look at the individual flowers, you can't help being amazed.

I would love to show you the display in real time, but this is the best I can do. I hope you enjoy it.

Wow, how beautiful.  Wouldn't you love to have this on your front porch?    Unfortunately it wouldn't survive as they are very delicate and need just the right temperature.

Jesus said, 'Take no (anxious) thought for your life, what  ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; not yet for your body, what ye shall put on.  Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Behold the fowls of the air:  for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them.  Are ye not much better than they?

And why take ye thought for raiment?  Consider the lilies (or begonias in the hothouse) of the field, how they grow;  they toil not, neither do they spin:  And yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

... your heavenly knows you have need of all these things.  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;  and all these things shall be added unto you."    Matthew 6:25.26.28.29.32.33.

Have you chosen your favourite one?

Wow, isn't this beautiful!    I went to the Ballarat Botanic Gardens again and it is the Begonia display at present.    The begonias are in the hot house and they are magnificent.   I was on my way to a doctor's appointment, so I only had a short time, but I took photo after photo so I would have a lot to choose from.   Enjoy the beauty of God's creation.

The blessing of flowers we cannot imagine unless we did not have them.

These flowers are dahlias. Big and beautiful.

And now we enter the hot house.  This is the begonia display. It is free, but you can give a donation if you wish.

These flowers are eight inches across (about 13 centremetres). The big ones are males flowers. The females are about four inches across, and just single petals.  The males really shine here!

The type of flowers in the hothouse is changed four times a year, so there is always something to see and enjoy.

I hope you enjoyed your visit to the begonia display.   God bless you.
