I love this tree, caught as the sun was going down in a neighbour's garden.
There is no leaf of the forest, or lowly blade, but has its ministry. Every tree and shrub and leaf pours forth that element of life without which neither man nor animal could live; man and animal, in turn, minister to the life of tree and shrub and leaf. The flowers breathe fragrance and unfold their beauty in blessing to the world. The sun sheds its light to gladden a thousand worlds. Desire of Ages p19.20.
I was looking for kangaroos at dusk and just caught this picture. The branches of the tree look like they are on fire.
I love pictures taken in the late afternoon. The sun's rays give such a glow to the colour, making in a special time of day.

Sin has marred God's perfect work, yet that handwriting remains. Even now all created things declare the glory of His excellence. There is nothing, save the selfish heart of man, that lives unto itself. Desire of Ages p19.
We all have selfish hearts and need the miracle of a new spiritual heart. God will give us a new heart if we surrender to Jesus.
