This is my surprise iris. A lady pulled some out of her garden and gave them to me. She said, 'I don't know what they are like, but you can have them.' I assumed they would be white, but when they came out with a purple-blue unopened petal, I could not wait for them to come out. And they took ages!!!

Well, it was a lovely surprise and worth waiting for. And there are three more of the same plants getting ready to flower. With these, my iris flowers will be finished, but they have been a joy to behold.
In this world we must be patient and wait for the beauty.
Sometimes we are surprised where we find it. At other times we know where it is, but must wait until it is ready. Have patience if your character is not yet as beautiful as you want it to be. God will perfect it "in His time".
