Rejoice! The promise is yours -- take it.
The children playing look so far down. When my friend drove to the edge I kept saying, 'Stop, Stop. Let me out.' Ha, it was a long way down.
... He gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth. Proverbs 8:29.
Go to --More Ocean
This is such a marvellous view, I had to show it again. The scenery is all in California near Crescent City.
I love the ocean. It seems to do something for me every time I see it. I always have to take a deep breath the moment I see the water. And I love the sound of the sea also. It has a gentle, soothing effect. And the sea has incredible power. Just imagine all that water and it stays on the other side of the sand. Of course, there are storms that turn it into a fury and it overruns the shore line, but the fact that is generally stays where it is supposed to is because God said it could go no further.
Do not punish yourself over past mistakes. If you have confessed and forsaken your sins, they are so far gone you cannot retrieve them.
Another symbolism is even more impossible.
As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103:12.
If you begin walking east, you will never arrive in the west. Why? Because west will always be behind you. You may get to the west of a country, but of the globe you cannot.
When we ask God for forgiveness of our sins, the Bible says, He will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. Micah 7:9. This is symbolic language. The ocean is very deep in certain parts, and symbolically speaking, if you were to dive down and try to find the bottom, you could not. It is the same with your sins: when they are forgiven, they are gone. Believe it.
