Educate your mind to be thankful for God's great love for us. He could have left us to destroy ourselves, but instead, He sent His Son to die for us.
As you look around the world today you might be tempted to think God has left us, but He must allow things to come to a head before He steps in a second time. The cup must be full to reveal the fullness of iniquity, that it won't rise again.
There is much to be positive about when you look at the lovely flowers.
Instead of questioning and caviling concerning that which you do not understand, give heed to the light that already shines upon you, and you will receive greater light. By the grace of Christ, perform every duty that has been made plain to your understanding, and you will be enabled to understand and perform those of which you are now in doubt. Steps to Christ p79.

If you see the glass as 'half empty' why not begin a habit of seeing it 'half full'? It will take effort, but it will be worth it. As the mind dwells, so it becomes; a law of nature, like gravity, that cannot be changed.
If you have a positive attitude for everything, you can be joyous in all things.
